Kirsty was given the dancing lady by Lindsay who said the model reminded her of her friend. One day the model vanished, the following Christmas Kirsty was given the book ‘Little People in the City’ – a collection of photographs of these tiny model people in real human-scale environments. Immaculately inserted into the anonymous gift were photographs of Kirsty’s missing dancing lady. A hoola hoop made out of electrical wire had been added, Kirsty had been taking hoola hoop classes. The model was later returned and the photographer, thief and admirer revealed himself.
