Jo had the difficult task of clearing out her mum’s wardrobe. She found over fifty bright cotton shirts. She couldn’t face getting rid of them so she made them into a patchwork in her mum’s memory.

One day the model vanished, the following Christmas Kirsty was given the book ‘Little People in the City’ – a collection of photographs of these tiny model people in real human-scale environments. Immaculately inserted into the anonymous gift were photographs of Kirsty’s missing dancing lady. A hoola hoop made out of electrical wire had been added, Kirsty had been taking hoola hoop classes. The model was later returned and the photographer, thief and admirer revealed himself.
